So on one extremely rare occasion that I breezed through traffic after work, I ended up with an extra 30 minutes before I would normally pick up my DD from creche and race back home to relieve the nanny. So whats a girl to do but shop, of course!..Sadly, it was just of the grocery store variety. But on my way in I noticed a new little store called Nibbly Bits, out in Parklands/Sunningdale area along the West Coast…or it could be not-so-new, as I hardly get to truly explore like I used to. With the rare winter sun shining, and our brains all mushed by the work week – being such diligent workers that we are, we were in need of some injection of fun (and food), and decided to make a meal outta lunchtime, as it were, by heading out to The Mexican on Long for a quick bite.

So about two weekends ago we went on an epic family playdate. I had read quite a bit about Weltevreden Estate, religiously stalked their facebook page and so had been wanting to go for some time now. So when my buddy suggested we do a reconn mission there for a possible birthday venue for her DD, it was on like donkey kong!!
