I do appreciate cute decaled stockings with sweet scenes on them. But not gonna lie, my heart belongs to knitted or crocheted stockings. Especially chunky knitted ones. They have my heart. So heres a round up of ones uve spotted locally. (I’ll add here to share as i find, becayse they seem to sell out real quick!)
Each year I get loads of questions about where I got my knitted christmas stockings from. (Its from Target) And I’m always so disappointed that I could never find a local equivalent to share with you.(I’m sure you could knit your own though😉)
So i was truly chuffed to finally find one that looks almost exactly like my cream knitted stockings🙌🏼 But hurry, they’re no doubt gonna sell out real quick. Whats great is that these keep forever and fit in with almost every christmas decor pallete. So perfect for sustainability and having pieces to last the years🙌🏼
This is a cute one that will hit the mark with all fans of minimalism and the neutral canvas folks. Also works great in colourful decor to break the brights up. As well as elegant and modern christmas decor pallets.
Gingerbread House Decor
Gingerbread houses seems to be a strong trend this year, but honestly I dont even care😅,because I’ve always loved and appreciated a good gingerbreadhouse – they bring a sweet yet fanciful touch of christmas to any chosen style of decor, dont you think? This year, however, there is definitely more
available locally here in SA, and i couldnt be more thrilled. So if youre into this as well, and been wanting to extend or start your little gingerbread house christmas collection, have a look- see at these pretties I’ve found online.
Theres a certain whimsical touch that christmas villages bring to the home decor this time of the year. And im a sucker for it. I dont have a proper cohesive collection, but im beginning to enjoy this mish mash of village houses im collecting- and this little house will fit in perfectly.
Here is another option in case you wanted something different. Or both of them!😆
These are sweet little cardboard boxes shaped as Gingerbread houses, and if clustered together make for a sweet and easy (and far more economical😉) christmas village look – perfect for top of the piano, the server or windowsill or couch table xmas decor. Fill these up with sweet msgs, xmas related Bible verses and or treats for the kids for each day.
Gosh, guys, i love a good advent calendar but not gonna lie, i think i want something more permanent. You know? Just to seal and cement my Griswold assimilation 😆😅😉 Like this sweet gingerbread one. How cute!!
Keep your eye out for more, as there is definitely more gorgeous decor finds on the way.
