The Great Munchkin Giveaway & Review

Happy Hump Day, folks! The week is in full swing, and just to give it some more oomph, how about a really sweet giveaway? Let’s do it!

Guys…as a mother, I know it may be odd to hear me say that I don’t often get excited about certain baby brands. I mean, my life at this stage(mostly) revolves around these brands, right? And as a mother of FOUR, and the rate and level at which I consume at, I’m a brand’s dream consumer! But ery few excite me, or only one or two have me loyal. So, when I say that I LOVE Munchkin products, that’s not just some cheap over used bloggerspeak term. (sidenote: truth be told,myself and all the other mom bloggers I enjoy, never actually use thoughtless bloggerspeak anyways) – I honestly LOVE them!

Munchkin has only recently arrived on SA shores, but I’ve used them for years already thanks to my awesome sister in USA who went a bit ape-poop crazy in the baby isle of the stores when I was preggers with our first kid and sent me quite a few of their products. So after 8 years of using and loving on their products, and being low key impatient for them to come share their amazingness with our local stores, I can finally not only breathe a sigh of relief, as I excitedly do a happy dance for their arrival, but I can also SHARE it WITH YOU!!

Yes, I absolutely believe in their products so much that I’d love for one of YOU to receive a whole bunch of their goodies – just so that you get to see what Im on about. As my daughters would say, they are “SO DOPE!”

But before I get to how you can get your hands on this wonderful goody bag, let me show you what all we’ve been trialling. The amazing team from Munchkin sent me a lovely gift box containing some pretty rad product choices that are all perfect for our current life stages with our two small babies.

First up,Feeding:
Master Remy-James LeBeau had literally just started his feeding overture, so having the right tools at hand were a god-send!

Munchkin kitted us out with some truly practical yet aesthetically pleasing bowls in two gorgeous colours with non slip bottoms. Not only are they dishwasher and microwave safe, but are also BPA free. And they store away well together, as they nest easily inside each other. (these are sold in a pack of two)

Im a big fan of the white hot Infant spoons that turn white immediately if baby’s food is too hot. (and it’s so easy to be unsure) So no oopsies, no matter how bad your porridge brain mya be mama!

Of course Coco was all too happy about her sweet little plate with its fun face that helps bring some more interest to whats on the plate – especially on hard days with Coco and she’s not keen on eating.

Also I adore the spoon that comes with it, that makes self feeding a little easier. Its shaped to accommodate shorter arms so that the spoon enters mouth at an angle that allows more food to go in with less falling off.

Also, as the mother of a insanely cute, tiny tornado (aka Coco), Im a big fan of brands that can deliver on their promise of no spill cups. So, no surprise then that the Miracle 360 cup is also one of our fave’s as it keeps us from having to clean up after Coco. It truly is spill proof, has a large capacity, so we’re not constantly refilling her water for her, and is spoutless! Which is ideal for proper oral development. But it has such a clever design that Coco can drink from any side and the water will come through, but the moment she stops drinking, it reseals itself. Ya’ll know Im a big fan of cups that live up to the Coco-proof test, and this brand is definitely one them that scores high in that department!

It’s also easy to grip for little tiny chubby hands, dishwasher safe, BPA free of course , and SO easy to clean!

Speaking of clean, that takes me to bathtime & their CleanSqueeze mold-free Bath Squirts..

Guys, I don’t know about you, but I flipping hate gunky bath toys. I mean Im such a cucker for cute little toys my kids love playing with in the bath, BUT I absolutely depsise the funky mold that develops inside of them.urghhhhh. My mind runs wild with all the grossness that must be lurking inside those toys that then seep out into the bath. The very bath your precious little darlings are marinading in…and if yours are anthing like mine, that water ends up in their mouth at one point or the other…bleh! No thanks! This is why Im so nuts about Munchkins bath time toys: Super cute, with colours to excite my babies, but you can pop them open for easy cleaning and drying. No more worries! You’ve got to love that, right?!

And lastly, their Cleaning brush set…
Seriously, Munchkin is all about being truly useful & practical design, even right down to their bottle brushes. It comes in a pack of 4 small brushes, which includes 2 straw brushes, 1 valve brush, and 1 spout brush. All of them have soft, durable, scratch-free bristles, with a wide based handle that makes for upright drying & easy storage and access.

I hope you can start to see why I have such a soft spot for this particular brand. They’re not just a pretty face, although lets face it, their products are pretty darn good looking. So if you’d like to try it yourself to see what I’m on about, I’ve got something for you!
