Perfectly timed for the changing season…
This post is sponsored by our friends at Superbalist. But the opinions in this post are all mine. And that of my little ladies. 🙂
So, if you knew my girls well enough, you’d know they have a particular love for shoes. They have pretty strong opinions about what goes onto those tootsies of theirs to finish off “the look” they’ve chosen for the day. So when I invited
them to have a look-see at Superbalist’s latest shoe selection for girls, they couldn’t hop onto my lap fast enough!
Being little ladies who take their shopping seriously (and who could teach me a thing or two about it) they relished the idea that they could cruise through the whole selection, and brainstorm all the outfits the shoes would match. (when did they become teens?! 🙂 )
For me, this online option is an absolute boon, because, hello: Mom of three, over here! I don’t know how it goes with you, but shopping whilst juggling a kid, a toddler and little baby can become a bit of comedy of errors some days. Throw in a side of SHOE shopping, and sometimes it just feels like you’re herding cats! So now doing this in the comfort of our own home, on the couch or curled up in bed, with the whole selection neatly fitting in the palm of my hand or laptop, is far more my speed (and way better for my blood pressure).
And with Superbalist’s awesome range of kid’s shoes, you’ll have all the choice you need. Also, this was perfect timing, because we’re just about to do our seasonal shopping for the girls, as we head into the cooler times.
The girls had a field day, as Superbalist really has a nice line up for them, with, might I add, a decent price range. (from R69 and upwards) So with our fickle Autumn weather in mind, we narrowed our favourites down to a few picks, sans those sweet sandals we all spotted up on there.
So, without further ado, here are my girls top five favourite picks from Superbalist’s Girls Shoes selection:
1. These gorgeous floral kids Adidas superstar 360
As we head on into Autumn, these pay perfect homage to the bright and colourful days of Summer. The girls say they would go perfectly with their tights on cooler days, as well as with their simple white dress for warmer days of Autumn.
Also, just look at them. They’re gorgeous. Can you blame them for choosing these? Just look!
2. This Maddison Hi Top girls’ shoe had Parker-Grace hopping in her seat the moment she saw them.
As a big fan of high tops, it was no surprise actually. (I mean her uncle bought her a tee that said even princesses wear sneakers, cause thats exactly who she is!) She loves pairing them with dresses and jeans or tights. But these glittery ones she says are for when she needs some bling. (which is basically all day, err’ day for that madam) What little girl doesn’t love some bling? 😉
I love them because they have an inner zip for easy wear. A.k.a. Independence for kiddies not yet comfy with laces. A.k.a. A win for mommy!
3. Then in keeping with the glitter theme, Morgan-Lee chose these glittery Kids Primo ballet pumps.
She says these would make her feel fancy. 🙂 She also said they would be perfect with her Easter dress, or to pretty up her tights or jeans. This girl knows whats up, man. Cause, pumps, especially sparkly ones like these are the easiest way to dress up any outfit.
4. These red All Star LO juniors had us ALL pointing to the screen!
For me, red shoes are just…happiness! And tiny small red shoes that are the classic cool Converse? That’s ALL the happiness right there in a shoe box!
I’m not sure if they are influenced by our love for converses, but the girls adored this one. They both said these would be perfect with their white or denim dresses on sunshiny days. Or their jeans and cosy jerseys on cooler days. Or a tights and tee, with a pretty matching bow in their hair.
But seriously, these are such a cult classic, how could we not love them!?
5. Then rounding up our top five are these: The cutest, slickest, coolest baby pink Adidas Gazelles your eyes did ever see!
The girls chose these incredibly cool, incredibly sweet and massively ovary-dropping-cute Gazelles for their baby sister. (#heartmelt for them even thinking of their sister)And the fact that they come in matchy-matchy big sister sizes has me nodding all the way!
These little shoes were made as an exact replica of the ’91 Gazelle. And that vintage style will always have all my heart eyes! #swoon
What do you think of our selection? Which are your favourites? You got your kids shoes ready for the coming season?
Also boy moms, fret not, they have an excellent selection for the boys too. For the big boys here, and baby boys over here. And, yes, you can bet your bottom dollar Im hitting up their baby girl range right after this. Those pink baby Gazelles were just the tip of the iceburg! Cough-there-are-shooshoos-too-cough cough. 😉
Also, you must know that the Superbalist app is excellent!
It’s easy to navigate and it’s quick. There’s a nice quick access sale category button you can hop to immediately; Easy filtering on all of the categories. High quality pix, with really decent views of the prospective purchase. There’s also a great feed option – my hubby particularly liked that feature. And, what’s more is that the app is FREE!
Now, if you need anymore reason to hop on over to their site right now, don’t forget they have a seriously awesome first time buyer promotion happening right now:
R250 off for first time buyers (ie that’s with a minimum spend of R600)
Now, go, go, go!
I know how I’ll be spending the rest of my evening! 😉
Happy shopping! X
