With winter well and truly on the way (well, we can only hope what with our current drought), you know that as a mom your mind is already flitting through the thousand and one warm, practical and cosy, yet cute as a button outfits your kids are going need for the coming season. At least, I know that’s where my head is at, amidst the myriad of other really pressing items of motherhood too.
And it’s a fact that everyone shops differently for the kids. So the way I shop for our kids depends on what I foresee with the particular outfit; Special outings, or visits to grandma, playdates or parties, or pieces that I wish to pass down to the next sibling, are different to their everyday rough and ready, fall and skin my knees outfits or paint my masterpiece while I paint myself day to day wear. But maybe your rough and ready wear is what I would deem a special outfit, because that’s what you love and can afford, then good for you! Who doesn’t appreciate decent quality?!
So for quality pieces that I know will last, and more importantly hold up well enough to be hand me downs for the next little sister in line, I have a few favourite brands that I know I can depend on. Right now, one of our firm favourites that deliver time after time on quality, style, uniqueness and comfort is Cotton On Kids. And their current winter range does not disappoint!
In fact, it will only delight. And I don’t say that lightly, cause there is something that you must know about me: I’ve never been a lover of clothes shopping for myself. Im still not. However, as I’ve discovered ever since I started buying kiddy clothes, im a complete sucker for this stuff. But even more so when I walk into a Cotton On Kids store recently! Right now, I want ALL of it. ALL their collections. From their gorgeous jerseys, cutest tights right now to their super adorable changing mats! It’s really hard to have to choose. So when you make your way to them this season, and I INSIST that you must, don’t say I didn’t warn you.
To give you a taste here’s what we recently bagged have a look-see here:
Getting ready for the winter bugs by slugging back some vitamin rich smoothies…That’s also enriched with some hot cocoa powder…(ok, fine, LOTS of hot cocoa powder.)
Nothing says cute and cosy quite like large chunky jerseys…
I wish BOTH of these came in my size…Im all heart eyes about them…(i.e. the jerseys, the socks AND those two munchkins!)
Overalls are my hot favourite right now…whom I kidding, they’ve been a hot fave of mine for some time now…For the kids and myself. And these kiddy overalls make the cutest darn statement with just about any of the statement sweaters Cotton On Kids has to offer…
In fact, with or without a top these overalls slay in the cuteness department…
And denims? Oh my, Cotton On Kids has a great range of jeans that’ll have you humming. Morgy particularly liked this pair, as it’s “broken”, just like moms. 😉
And this cap…All of us love it, even Daddy!
As for this winter parker, the colour, the fur detail, the fit, just all of it, will have my vote time and time again. It’s somewhat of a winter staple, and Im wishing I could find a maternity version of it for myself. And what I know for a fact is, is that because this coat was so well well made, it will definitely be passed down onto little sister in about two winters again, just like her previous coat.
Or if full coats arent your jam, then the selection of puffer vests is sure to make you smile…
And let’s not forget about the dresses…My girls would NEVER let me forget about dresses. Especially my littlest Parker-Grace – who wants to wear dresses all year round! And these ones are not only cute and come in various styles and shades that fit anyone’s colour pallet – from the monochrome to the rainbow zone – but they are also so soft and comfy and will keep them warm and cosy in these cooler months.
Also, if you’re fan-girling over their fox socks as much as I am, but also want to be sure your little ladies protected from those chilly winter breezes, then these two tone fox tights will have you swooning all through winter.
And there you have it….the Winter style forecast is looking bright, warm & snuggly over at Cotton On Kids…
Happy shopping!X
Gosh your girls are gorgeous (just like their mama) and now I’m fervently hoping this baby is a girl so that I can dress her up in all the cuteness!!! Goodness, the cuteness is too much!
Hahaha! But nama, have you seen their gorgeous boy range?! To die for! Also on a serious note, their baby range is seriously cute!
Hahaha yeah I know. It’s just I know that all those beautiful clothes don’t come in my size, so I’d be able to live vicariously through one of my own instead of being a stalker and living through yours 😀 hahaha!
Can I please just have all of these in size 30-35 yr old? Especially the dresses!
Yes! Yes! I agree! All of it,please?
I can remember dressing my daughter this cute when she was that age. Your girls are lovely!

Your girls are so cute! And I NEED those socks for Zee!!! I don’t know how I missed them last time I was in there. Cotton On Kids is my fave place to shop for my little person – each time I’m there I spend so much time swooning over all the cuteness. 🙂
Thanks high Heels! And yes, I NEED those socks for MYSELF! 😉 And yes, I swoon right along with you…all their ranges are really cute. ps. The socks are not from them – I got those in USA last year. (however I am almostsure I spotted a local business stock this year. Will let you know if I find them again) BUT Cotton On has stockings that are JUST as cute (the ones Morgan is wearing with her black dress above), and perfect for Winter.
Haha… I agree, I could do with a pair too! ? Ahh.. and here I was thinking I’m getting her some the next time we’re in Cotton On!
