Why in the world would you need edible glue?! Ha! You’d be suprised. I wasnt too far along into my baking and fondant modelling journey before I was in need of this magical substance.
So when that time comes for you, here’s how to make it with just TWO ingredients:
-
-1 teaspoon tylose powder (found at most bake stores) mixed with 1 teaspoon water.
Stir it up vigourously, and yes, it should have the consistency of gooey egg white – you didnt get it wrong.
BOOM! You now have edible glue.
You wont need much for each application, if you’re just working on a few little bits of fondant pieces or candy eyes to glue onto a cake or cookie, just a thin layer is all that is needed. It’s tasteless and works like a charm.
You’re welcome!
