This craft is so easy, it may just be my shortest post yet!
With Valentines day looming (yes, looming, folks! It’s only 12 days away!), I was wondering what craft I could do this year that both my littlest beast AND biggy could do together. With a baby in the mix, it had to be easy, no fuss, and yet still carry the loved-up theme.
Enter the humble toilet roll!! Finally (!), I figured out something else to make other than the usual trumpet or binoculars.
All you need:
-
1. One or more toilet rolls
2. Paper/cardboard (for stamping)
3. Red finger paint/ red food coloring (or whatever colour you’d prefer, Im just going with Valentines day colours here)
4. Old t-shirt/ full apron (’cause you know its going to get messy up in here)
5. And one or more eager little artist/messer/paint squisher and spreader
Then, simply bend the toilet roll so that it looks like a heart.
Dip it in the paint/colour, and let your little arist stamp away.
And there you go….that simple!
Which reaaaally works for me, because after Christmas, stick a fork in me, Im pretty much done! (Yes, Im still recovering. Sad, I know. Or maybe my christmas was just THAT bad ass!) 😉
This could used as a card for Grandparents or school teacher, or to make heart-themed wrapping paper, or we’re-doing-this-just-because. Whatever, floats your boat.
I would love to see what your little one’s works of art looked like in the end. Why not share them on my Facebook page over here! Look forward to checking them out.
Happy stamping,love-bugs!
